If you need a book but don't have access to the physical library remember that we have free access to many great ebooks! You can read them on your computer, tablet, or phone. Instructions are below. Overdrive – which we will access using the Sora App, allows you to borrow eBooks and audiobooks for free. You can borrow eBooks and audiobooks and download them onto your personal smartphone or tablet. Directions for using Overdrive:
Books are loaned for 14 days. If you use the app on a phone or tablet, books automatically download to your device for offline reading or listening. Books do not download to a computer from the Sora website. You can also search in our library catalog. Go to "search for a book" on the library homepage (the orange button) and search ebooks. Simply click on the web link to open it up and read it. Most will just open. If a Follett ebook asks you for a password, user ID is newpaltz and password is newpaltz
Ms. St. John's AP Lang classes brainstormed on the library whiteboard tables. Each class generated questions based on current issues/problems. So many interesting questions came up! So many fascinating ideas to research . . .
